Project overview

Shadowline

"Shadowline" supports a modern luxury residence built into the hillside near the base of Shadow Mountain. The home is organized as two architectural wings connected by a long central structure, with extensive glazing, flat rooflines, landscaped terraces, and a lower outdoor living area overlooking the valley.

The completed system combines 150 kWh of battery storage with a 25 kW rooftop solar array. Forty-eight selected loads are coordinated through an 800A backup system within the property's larger 1600A electrical service. Rather than placing the entire service on battery simultaneously, the design concentrates available power where it provides the greatest resilience and practical value.
